after buying a very very very cheap pair of sneakers from "live big for less" BIG W (who are clearly promoting obesity), i was furious to find that another fashion retailer, General Pants sold much snazzier shoes of a similar kind. angry at my cheap-skatedness, i returned home with pink and white shoes that made me look like a pre-teen princess obsessed with the likes of Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

so, by sacrificing a few hours and some blood from multiple needle pricks, i updated the shittyness that was these shoes into the finished product you see before you; the first ever "Red, White and Bloo" Sneakers in the bloobelle range.

so next time you feel like you need to save $20 by purchasing bullshit sneakers from BIG W, make sure you have some pretty material, glue, thread, a needle and sewing skills handy. though, if you lack such tools, you will probably have to spend near $20 stocking up. but hey, you made them yourself and that satisfaction is yours to hold over the foolish masses who buy from expensive retailers.
